Prepare with ChatGPT
Use ChatGPT to describe your project and submit a working demo link.
Submit a working demo hosted elsewhere, or let your assistant package a compatible build for our optional host.
Build the project your idea needs. Our upload limits apply only to files hosted here, not to your source project, features, or complexity.
1. Build or continue your project (optional)
Use this helper if you want help developing your idea for the selected challenge. Choose your goals and time available, then build and test complete, useful workflows.
Choose your challenge above to see its brief.
Continue in your existing project or start from your idea. Already have a working project? Skip to connection and submission below.

2. Connect your own account once
Already connected to Maximizing Potential? Skip the setup below. Otherwise, follow it and sign in with your own Maximizing Potential account. Each participant uses their own connection.
This page cannot check your assistant’s connection. Your assistant will verify it before uploading.
Connect ChatGPT to save a draft
- Open ChatGPT Plugins ↗, select +, then Add custom MCP server.
- Name it Maximizing Potential, paste the server URL below, and choose OAuth. Use dynamic client registration (DCR) if asked. No API key is needed.
- Create and install the plugin. Sign in to your Maximizing Potential account and choose Connect assistant.
- In your ChatGPT conversation, type @ and select the plugin. Then paste the project instructions below.

Connect Claude Code on the web
- Open Claude’s Connectors ↗ and add a custom web connector named Maximizing Potential with the server URL below.
- Use OAuth and, if asked for an OAuth client, choose Register automatically. Connect with your own Maximizing Potential account and choose Connect assistant.
- Enable the connector for the Claude session containing your project. Copy the connection check below and ask Claude to run it. If the tools remain missing, reconnect or reopen the session; if needed, start a new one with the same repository and branch.
Terminal connection commands configure Claude Code on your computer. They do not add a connector to your cloud session. Regular Claude chat uses this connector setup too, but uploading an app still requires access to its actual files.
If Claude says the site is blocked
Connector access and cloud network access are separate. A working connector can call its tools even when the cloud terminal cannot download the guide or upload helper.
For direct downloads and helper uploads, open your session’s environment settings, choose Network access → Custom, and add home.maximizingpotential.workers.dev under Allowed domains. Keep the existing domains your project needs. Save, allow about a minute for the change, then retry the blocked request. A network change alone does not require a new session.
Connect Codex
Open your project in Codex
Ask your assistant to help you connect Maximizing Potential, or run these commands in your project’s terminal. Reuse an existing connection.
When the browser opens, sign in to your own Maximizing Potential account and choose Connect assistant. Return to the same project afterward.
Get Codex ↗Check this Claude session
Run this in Claude after connecting. The check reads your account and event status; it does not create or publish a submission.

3. Prepare your submission
Copy these instructions into the same project or chat where you built your project. Your connected assistant preserves the app, checks its working demo or compatible build, prepares a private draft, and gives you a review link.
A working demo hosted elsewhere is a normal submission path for the full app. Copying text does not connect your account or publish your project.
Your event will be included.

Copy the instructions first, then paste them into your conversation.
Can’t add a connection? ChatGPT can still help write your project details. Keep that text, then use Claude Code or Codex here to create your submission.
Review and submit
Once your connected assistant saves a draft, open its review page. Check your public summary, private judging details, and demo-sharing choices. Accept the User Agreement, Terms of Service, and required permissions, then select Allow and submit.
After submitting, open your public project page. If you included an app or demo, check its core workflows. Follow the event’s judging schedule and use your own judge invitation when it is time.

What can I submit?
Your full project can use a working HTTPS demo hosted elsewhere. This keeps its server, database, sign-in, storage, and other features available. A compatible browser app can also use our optional built-in host.
Your source project is not limited by the built-in host's file count or upload size. Keep its features and architecture. If a working demo is not available, your assistant will discuss hosting the full app or submitting without a demo before preparing that choice.
No Cloudflare account or API key is needed to connect to Maximizing Potential and prepare your submission.
Optional built-in hosting: technical requirements
Upload only a compatible production build, separately from your source project. Supported files include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, fonts, JSON, and WebAssembly. The upload bundle can contain up to 200 files, with a maximum of 4 MiB per file and 10 MiB total.
This host does not run servers or databases and does not support sign-in cookies or browser storage. Your assistant must check runtime compatibility and the actual build before uploading. Use a working external demo when the full app needs features or capacity beyond this host; keep those features in your project.
What becomes public?
After you select Allow and submit, your project name, short summary, challenge, team name, and approved contributor names appear on a shareable project page. Longer judging details and links stay private unless you choose to display them. For a compatible browser app, hosting it on Maximizing Potential is the recommended option; you explicitly approve the files and an automatic screenshot. An external demo is also supported. Your contact email and judge scorecards stay private.
You keep ownership. Public display does not grant sponsors commercial rights or authorize separate promotion or AI training. Review every detail and file before publishing: browser files can be inspected and copied. Changes need fresh approval and close when judging begins. Withdrawal before results ends active judging; removing your showcase after results preserves earned awards. Necessary organizer records and copies already shared may remain.
Need a privacy accommodation? Contact the organizer before submitting. Read the User Agreement and Terms of Service. Your participant account is separate from event registration.
